Api usage is simple. You don't need an API key (at least now) and there is no limit on usage (although we might limit if there is a very high use coming from a certain source or when our service is misused):

Shorten an URL

To encode an URL fetch

http://byrk.de/api/?u=%%URL%%

where %%URL%% is your URL. The response you get is the shortened URL.

In case, anything goes wrong, you will receive the message FAIL
